Travel and accommodation information

Please, see also the University's travel page. We are on the Penglais campus.


En-suite accommodation will be in Rosser Hall of Residence. Rosser consists of flats on ground, first and second floor levels. Each flat has 8 single en-suite rooms and a fully equipped kitchen/diner. Each bedroom has a desk, bed, wardrobe, washbasin, shower and toilet. Please note there are no lifts between floors.

Bed linen and towels are provided.

On arrival you should collect your room key from the Cwrt Mawr Reception (see map). Please note reception has 24hr cover.

Travel and parking

If you are traveling by car, please request a free car park permit from Cwrt Mawr Hall reception upon arrival. There is ample parking adjacent to Rosser.

If you are arriving by train please note that there is a taxi rank outside the station. Walking with luggage is not recommended as the campus is uphill from the station!

Conference Registration

The Conference Registration desk will be in Penbryn Hall (see map) from 12noon – 1.45pm on Monday, 3 September 2007.

Conference Venue

All talks will be in A14, Hugh Owen (see map).

Catering Arrangements

Breakfast for residential delegates is provided in Branwen’s Restaurant, Penbryn Hall from 7.30am-9am. Given the short walk, delegates may wish to take breakfast en route to morning sessions.

All lunches and tea/coffee breaks will also be in Penbryn Hall.
